When it comes to interior design, I've happily been Pinning bits and bobs for a little while now. Having always lived with roommates, I do look forward to the time where I can finally call a place my own and decorate it as I see fit. But until then, honing my design skills and curating the perfect look book will have to do. This week, I think taupe and the creative stylings of interior designer Heide Lerkenfeldt.
While I do keep picturing my perfect grey scale minimalist home, Lerkenfeldt's use of tans, taupes, greys and whites does open a number of great options. Still pretty bare bones, I do love that adding texture here comes easy and the fun all the artwork brings in to the room. If I could I'd probably litter more cushions and blankets in to the space. The building itself is visually ridiculous so everything just seems that much more appealing!
I do find this to be a little random edition to the pale colour palette mix. But how perfect is this green arm chair against it all! It's just that little bit of depth that just turns me ooooonnn.
